Quarterback Kendall Abdur-Rahman capped a big night for Edwardsville with a 10-yard fourth-quarter run that gave the Tigers a 42-38 win over Huntley in the first round of the Class 8A playoffs.

Abdur-Rahman rushed for three touchdowns in the game and passed for two more. Edwardsville had to rally from 10 points down in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

The Tigers (7-3) will play the winner of Saturday’s game between No. 23 seed Palatine (6-3) and No. 10 South Elgin.
