Poll results: Here’s the top high school football play from Sept. 2 in southwest IL
BND readers had a chance to vote for the top football play of the week from the metro-east for Week 2.
Voting ended at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12.
Here were the choices:
- Freeburg junior Tucker Murphy’s touchdown reception from Cole Stuart vs. Nashville.
- Freeburg junior Cole Stuart’s touchdown run vs Nashville.
- Collinsville sophomore Devin Habermehl defending the option, forcing and recovering the fumble vs. Triad.
- Collinsville senior Kolby Anderson’s pass breakup vs. Triad.
- Collinsville senior Jerry Richardson’s 40-yard touchdown run vs Triad.
- Collinsville junior Ethan Bagwell’s 31-yard touchdown run vs. Triad.
- Belleville East junior Armon Vinson’s 18 yard touchdown reception vs. Pekin.
And the winner is ... Bagwell’s 31-yard touchdown run against Triad, which secured 49% of the votes.
