BND readers pick Collinsville QB as High School Player of the Week
Collinsville senior quarterback Chase Reynolds is the runaway winner of the Belleville News-Democrat Week 5 High School Football Player of the Week Poll, as selected by readers of bnd.com.
Reynolds completed 14-of-18 passes for 173 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Kahoks’ 41-0 victory against Granite City. Reynolds also rushed for 85 yards on just 8 carries.
The Kahoks are 3-3 on the season and will play at home against 4-2 Marion Friday night.

Coldon caught an 18-yard touchdown pass and returned an interception 30 yards for a touchdown in the Crusaders’ 49-0 Homecoming win against Alton Marquette.

Dempsey caught 5 passes for 136 yards in the Knights’ 42-13 win against Jerseyville.
