St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright is singing for his Twitter followers
Without throwing a pitch, St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright provided a thrill for fans who follow him on the social media platform, Twitter.
Unable to fall asleep, the Cardinals starting pitcher got out his guitar and performed two songs for his followers.
Wainwright performed “Danny’s Song” by Kenny Loggins, then followed up with “Huntin’, Fishin’ & Lovin’ Every Day” by Luke Bryan, which was for former teammate and current New York Mets first baseman Matt Adams.
“Well I can’t sleep. So, might as well get to some of the requests from the other day,” Wainwright said on his Twitter account.
Wainwright said Danny’s Song might be his new favorite.
“True story, when I was learning this the other day my son came up and gave me a kiss right when I played the first verse. Might be my new favorite song,” Wainwright said.
