Wong’s grand slam powers Cardinals past Cincinnati
Second baseman Kolten Wong clubbed a grand slam, the second of his career, in the fourth inning to power the St. Louis Cardinals to a 4-1 victory over Cincinnati on Monday at Busch Stadium. Wong's 399-foot cannon to right-center came against Raisel Iglesias (1-3) and handed the win to Lance Lynn (8-5).

Lynn, who improved to 7-3 in his career against the Reds, allowed one run (earned) on five hits in seven innings. He walked three and struck out five. ... Pitchers combined to hit five batters, three by the Reds, that led to warnings being issued to both benches in the sixth. ...
