St. Louis Cardinals

Exclusive Crumbl cookie flavor among new eats at Cardinals’ Busch Stadium for opening day

If you’re heading to Busch Stadium for opening day Thursday or for another game this season, you can try some new eats, including an exclusive flavor from a popular cookie company.

The St. Louis Cardinals will kick off the 2025 Major League Baseball season against the Minnesota Twins at home March 27.

Along with the game, opening day will feature a pep rally, a march of the Budweiser Clydesdales and a convertible motorcade to introduce National Baseball & Cardinals Hall of Famers. The first pitch will take place at 3:15 p.m.

Busch Stadium has a wide variety of concessions options already, including classic staples like hot dogs and soft pretzels, as well as more unique offerings like vegan tacos, “helmet nachos” and more.

Here’s what to know about the new food options available starting this week.

What’s new at Busch Stadium concessions stands?

Cardinals fans are getting a new dessert option at the stadium this season, as Crumbl Cookies opened a stand outside of right field, Fox 2 reports. Crumbl Cookies is known for its rotating menu of flavors, as well as its milk chocolate chip mainstay.

The Busch Stadium Crumbl Cookies stand will sell four-packs with peanut butter, chocolate chip and chocolate cake batter cookies, as well as a “gameday” cookie only available at the stadium, Spectrum News reported Monday. The gameday flavor is set to be announced Thursday, and the Busch Stadium station will be the first Crumbl Cookies location at a MLB stadium.

If cookies aren’t your favorite treat, you can also order churros, cotton candy, homemade donuts and ice cream at other Busch Stadium spots.

Freddy’s, a fast food restaurant known for its burgers and frozen custard, will open a second location at the stadium this season. The new location will focus on frozen treat options, while the original spot will still offer burgers.

What was formerly known as the Asian Café will now be Intentional Wok and will move behind center field, next to Outfield Grill. Crumbl Cookies will take the Asian Café’s previous spot.

The new Outfield Grill will offer unique specialty hot dogs with toppings like sauerkraut, brisket and peppers.

Another new option at Busch Stadium this season is Mayo Ketchup, where you can order empanadas, Cuban sandwiches and cheese arepas. Mayo Ketchup also has a restaurant at 3135 Olive St. in St. Louis.
