Yadier Molina homered and Mark Reynolds drove in a run with an eighth-inning fielder's choice Monday to give the St. Louis Cardinals a 2-1 victory over San Francisco in the opener of a three-game series. Reliever Kevin Siegrist (4-0) worked a scoreless eighth and Trevor Rosenthal pitched the ninth for his 37th save.
