Rookie Stephen Piscotty smoked an RBI double that scored pinch-runner Peter Bourjos in the eighth inning Monday, lifting the St. Louis Cardinals to a one-run victory. Jhonny Peralta tied the game with a single to right that scored Tommy Pham, who had tripled, to make it 1-1. Bourjos ran for Peralta and scored on Piscotty's hit to left-center.

The victory was the 12th this season in which the Cardinals have trailed after seven innings. Last year, they had three such wins. ...
