A Kansas City Chiefs fan died Sunday while attending the team’s training camp practice on Missouri Western’s campus.

Jessica Tangen, of Riverside in Platte County, passed away Sunday morning, Mosaic Life Care said in a statement.

“Jessica’s family shared that she was a lifelong Chiefs fan and loved cheering for the team,” Mosaic Life Care said in the statement. “Please join us in lifting up the grieving family with your thoughts and prayers.”

Mosaic said its caregivers provided medical attention to Tangen at training camp. Others who assisted included the Buchanan County EMS and Missouri Western staff.

Shortly after practice ended Sunday, an ambulance with its lights could be seen parked at the bottom of the hill near the Chiefs’ practice fields.

Mosaic Life said it would not be releasing further details.
