NHL All-Star Game weekend activities in St. Louis include concerts, fan fest
At last, National Hockey League All-Star weekend in St. Louis is here.
For the first time since 1988, the best professional hockey players in the world will showcase their talent on Saturday at the 2020 NHL All-Star Game at the Enterprise Center in downtown St. Louis.
But fans who don’t have a ticket for the game, shouldn’t dismay. All-Star weekend, which began Thursday and runs through Sunday, will provide a chance for the die-hard fan to the casual observer a chance to experience what the all-star game is all about.
From a fair at Union Station to free concerts to a 5K run, downtown St. Louis will be a hockey fans paradise during the next four days.
Following is a list of activities:
Thursday-Sunday
NHL Fan Fair
Where: Parts of Union Station
When: Thursday 3-10 p.m.
What: A chance to have picture taken with the Stanley Cup, autograph signings, interactive hockey games and other activities.
Price: Adults $12-20, children, seniors, military and college students $10-18. Children 2 and under are free. (Note: Tickets for Friday and Saturday were sold out)

Thursday
- Mascot Showdown: 5 and 7 p.m. Fan-Fest, Union Station
- NHL Alumni All-star Game, 7 p.m. Centene Community Ice Center, Maryland Heights
Friday
- 10 a.m. NHL Mini 1 vs. 1 Shootout Centene Community Ice Center, Maryland Heights
- 11:30 a.m. NHL Learn-to-Play Skills Jamboree at Winterfest Rink at Kiener Plaza
- 3-10 p.m. Fan Fair at Union Station
- 3:30 p.m. NHL All-Star Skills event and outdoor O.A.R. concert held at 14th and Market streets
- 7 p.m. NHL all-star skills competition and Mascot Showdown at Enterprise Center, telecasts on NBC Sports.
Saturday
- 9 a.m. NHL All-Star 5K run (starts at (starts at 18th and Market streets)
- 10 a.m. -7 p.m. NHL Fan Fest at Union Station
- Noon: NHL Learn-to-Play Skills Jamboree at Winterfest Rink at Kiener Plaza
- Noon and 2 p.m.: Mascot Showdown, Fan-Fest, Union Station
- 5 p.m. All-Star PreGame outdoor Green Day performance at 14th and Market streets

Sunday

Note: Persons should plan to arrive early for security checks at both Enterprise Center and outdoor performances.
Lane Closures
Beginning Thursday, Jan. 23 until at least Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020:
Market eastbound curb lane CLOSED between 16th and 14th
Street Closures
Street Closures will be in effect beginning at 12 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23 until 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26.
14th Street between Clark and Chestnut Street.
Market Street from 16th Street to 13th Street.
15th Street. between Market Street and Chestnut Street.
Chestnut Street between 15th Street and 14th Street.
What to bring and what not to bring
- A clear bag policy will be in effect for the 14th Street Performances on Friday and Saturday nights. If guests wish to bring a bag, it must be clear and meet the criteria below.
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”.
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
- Wallets, small clutch bags, with or without a handle or strap and does not exceed 4.5” x 6.5”.
- Diaper bags (with child) after inspection.
- An exception will be made for medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag, after proper inspection.
- All persons entering the area, and their possessions, are subject to inspection and security screening.
- Weather appropriate gear including umbrellas.
