St. Louis Blues

St. Louis Blues announce 2015-16 regular-season schedule; season opener Oct. 8

The Edmonton Oilers visit Scottrade Center at 7 p.m. Oct. 8 for the St. Louis Blues regular-season opener as the club announced on Thursday its full schedule for the 2015-16 season.

Among the highlights are 16 weekend home games and a pair of five-game homestands that include a visit from Eastern Conference champion Tampa Bay and former Blues goalie Ben Bishop on Oct. 27. The first visit by the Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks is Nov. 14, one of 29 Central Division games played by the Blues, who are coming off a division title season.

Along with division play, the Blues play every other Western Conference team three times and will play a home-and-home series against each team in the Eastern Conference.
