One shot outside Denny’s after attempted robbery in Fenton

A woman who was at Denny’s restaurant in Fenton was listed in critical condition after she was apparently shot early Friday.

The 66-year-old woman was shot in the parking lot after a suspect allegedly tried to rob her, police told KMOV.

The woman was shot around 1 a.m. in the 1000 block of South Highway Drive, KSDK reported.

No suspect description had been provided by St. Louis County Police as of Friday morning.
