Crews extinguished a hover board that caught fire inside a home in the 300 block of North 28th Street.

A resident of the home threw the hover board outside before the house caught fire as well, Belleville Fire Department officials posted on the agency’s Facebook.

“This is a real hazard for some hover boards,” the post read. “Read the instructions and safety information that come with them carefully.”
