Attempted armed robbery reported at Belleville liquor store
Authorities responded to the report of an attempted armed robbery at a liquor store Thursday night.
Although the investigation was still in its early stages as of Thursday night, St. Clair County Sheriff Capt. Bruce Fleshren said authorities are looking for a male suspect who attempted to rob Belle Vegas Liquor and Tobacco, at 1504 West Blvd. in Belleville.
No one was injured during the attempted armed robbery, Fleshren said.
