Lotawata Creek could reopen by Sept. 21

Lotawata Creek may reopen to diners in less than two weeks, the owners say.

The southern grill-style restaurant at 311 Salem Place in Fairview Heights has been temporarily closed since a June 19 fire damaged the kitchen.

The owners are hoping to reopen as soon as Sept 21.
