Belleville native and TV star DeLaria reschedules Lindenwood University-Belleville appearance

A presentation at Lindenwood University-Belleville featuring Lea DeLaria, a Belleville native who plays Carrie ‘Big Boo’ Black on the Netflix series Orange Is The New Black, has been rescheduled.

According to a message on the university’s marquee on Main Street, DeLaria will speak at the auditorium at 2600 W. Main St. at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Lindenwood’s website also reflected the change.

No reason was given for the change.
