Illinois State Police seek ID of body found in Mississippi River
Illinois State Police are seeking the identity of a corpse pulled from the Mississippi River this weekend.
The body of a white male was pulled from the river about noon on Saturday and was taken to the Madison County morgue in Wood River.
Illinois State Police noted the man had several tattoos, including “Zachary” on his upper left chest and “Family Forever” near his neck. The 6-foot tall man weighed approximately 240 pounds.
