IDOT to have overnight lane restrictions along I-64

The Illinois Department of Transportation plans to reduce lanes of Interstate 64 in both directions during the overnight hours starting Sunday, the agency said.

Lane restrictions are scheduled to be between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. along I-64 between Illinois 157 and Green Mount Road, IDOT said.

Crews are scheduled to place pavement markings along the interstate. Work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, April 15, weather permitting, the agency said.
