Kevin Phelps, 43

Kevin A. Phelps, 43, of Marine died on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10 and from 8 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 11 at Meridith Funeral Home in Highland. A funeral service will follow the visitation on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.

He was born on Jan. 14, 1972 in Belleville to Arty and Marjorie (Wilhelm) Phelps Jr.

Mr. Phelps was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Marine. He had a heart of gold. He loved sports and was a huge St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved his family, especially his daughters. He liked working in sales, whether it was selling cars or selling phones. He loved life.

He is survived by his parents; his fiancé, Chris Kendall of Marine; children, Christina and Madilyn Phelps; step-children, Ashley, Robbie and Chris Williams, and Alex Kendall; a sister, Lisa Ann Phelps; as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to his children’s education fund.
