An outrageous double standard
Donald Trump defended calling 18-year-old Alicia Machada “Miss Piggy” and “Miss Housekeeping” (she is Hispanic) because she gained weight following her coronation as Miss Universe in 1996. Trump said she gained a “massive” amount of weight. In fact, she gained 12 pounds.
A few weeks ago, Trump’s doctor reported he was overweight, weighing in excess of 250 pounds.. How can Donald Trump who is more than 50 pounds over the ideal weight of a large-framed man (178 to 197 pounds) demean and humiliate a teenage girl? What kind of man then defends bullying this woman 20 years later?
His double standard for women is outrageous!
