It’s passed on to the rest of us property owners
In April 2017 the BND published my letter stating Collinsville Mayor John Miller did not pay any 2015 property taxes. He had signed a form claiming a veteran with a service disability of 70 percent. The same information for 2016 was recently acquired and again, no taxes were paid by Mayor John Miller at 109 Alpha Drive, showing a fair market value of $159,800. Further, the BND has consistently assured us that TIF is a form of tax. Mayor Miller is a big promoter of TIF while not paying a waived $53,200 tax contribution. The amount waived is then passed on to the rest of we property owners.
