Belleville West is the lone remaining boys team in the Illinois Associated Press High School Basketball Top 10, but Southern Illinois is well represented on the state girls’ poll.

The Maroons (14-1) held their position at No. 3 in class 4A after moving up a spot last week. Wesclin (12-2), with its loss to Benton in the title game of the Duster Thomas Classic in Pinckneyville, fell out of the top 10 in class 2A. The Warriors were ranked No. 8 last week.

The undefeated Edwardsville girls’ team tops the 4A poll with O’Fallon earning a vote. Lebanon (18-0) held at No. 3 in 1A, while 13-4 Okawville came in at No. 10. Central also received votes in the girls 2A poll.
