New Belleville music venue drops summer concert lineup
Last week I reported that work on the expansion at Eckert’s Belleville Farm was delayed by the crazy amount of rain we had this spring.
Although we have to wait a little bit longer to enjoy the new dining pavilion and music venue, we can at least get geared up for what’s coming when the bands begin to play.
Eckert’s sent out an email to announce their Shows in the Shed, and here’s the list of performances coming this summer:
June 10 – Matt Stell
June 17 – Pokey LaFarge
June 24 – TBD
July 1 – Jeremiah Johnson Band
July 8 – Miss Jubilee
July 15 – Javier Mendoza Band
July 22 – Whiskey Morning
July 29 – Top Gunz ‘80s Tribute Band
Aug. 12 – Black Magic - The Santana Experience
Concert tickets will be required for these Friday-night shows. General admission ticket prices vary for each show. Tickets can be purchased online at eckerts.com.
The events calendar on the website also includes live performances in the new venue on Saturdays and Sundays. These are free to attend.
Guests can purchase eats and drinks from the Cider Shed while they enjoy the music at these family (and dog) friendly performances.
Saving the best news for last — In addition to the great sounds, there’s something else everyone can enjoy now.
Eckert’s announced Saturday on Facebook that the renovated Cider Donut & Custard Shop, located in the former classroom of the Country Store, is now open.
You can satisfy that sweet tooth (or teeth, if you’re like me) all day, every day from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Eckert’s Country Store & Farms is located at 951 S. Green Mount Road in Belleville. For more info, check out eckerts.com or the Facebook page.
