From spiral ham to deviled eggs, Easter brings to mind many classic dishes. For those looking to avoid the kitchen and let someone else cook, we’ve rounded up some brunch options to celebrate the holiday weekend.

To widen the scope, the News-Democrat published a survey asking readers to tell us where to find the best Easter brunch in the metro-east. Here are the reader favorites, as well as more options.

Cafe St. Louis by Pure at the Missouri History Museum

If you’d like to enjoy Forest Park views while brunching this Easter, check out Cafe St. Louis. You can order made-from-scratch dishes here, and Sunday brunch is served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $40 per guest.

Beginning April 24, you can also catch tunes from Jazz St. Louis during brunch. Missouri Historical Society members get a 10% discount at the cafe. Free wifi is also available.

Old Herald Brewery & Distillery

This full-service spot in Collinsville is at the Collinsville Herald’s former building, and the restaurant pays homage to the newspaper and the city’s brewing history.

You can get wings, flatbreads, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, steak and desserts here. Reservations can be made online, and the restaurant is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Lemp Mansion

The Lemp Mansion Restaurant serves family favorites from a historic home setting. You can order classics like fried mushrooms, buffalo chicken, seafood and meatloaf, as well as bananas foster and Spanish coffee.

The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Easter Sunday. Reservations can be made online.

Seven Belleville

Located in downtown Belleville, Seven serves brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Options include french toast, blueberry lemon ricotta pancakes, eggs benedict, build-your-own mimosas and more.

The restaurant is known for its fresh sushi, but it’s not offered during brunch hours, so check back from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday if that’s what you’re craving. Reservations are only required for parties with eight or more guests.

Route 13 Diner

Visit Route 13 Diner, formerly Moore’s Restaurant, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday for breakfast platters with eggs, hash browns, biscuits with gravy and breakfast meats, as well as omelettes and breakfast sandwiches. You can even get two specials for $5.50 each.

The restaurant is located at 7309 Old Saint Louis Road in Belleville.

EGG Restaurant

EGG has locations at 3100 Locust St. and 220 Gravois Ave., both in St. Louis. The restaurants are open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

Menus are based on location, but fan favorites include eggs benedict, french toast with fruit compote, mimosas and bottomless coffee.

SqWires Restaurant

SqWires is serving a-la-carte brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Sunday, and reservations are recommended.

There are also champagne brunch stations at SqWires Annex. Phone reservations are required, and seatings are at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. It costs $36 per person without taxes or gratuity, and for children under 12 it’s $16.
