Share your favorite dish served in southwest IL in this online poll
Wow, is my face red.
I was all excited about our latest restaurant poll to see what people name as their favorite dishes served in our area.
The poll launched first thing Monday morning. Then on Tuesday afternoon I went to take a look at the responses we have so far.
And to my complete and utter horror I realized — the poll doesn’t work.
Darn it.
But no worries because I fixed it – and tested it – and life is good again.
(But, dudes, if something like this happens again, by all means, please let me know.)
We’ve since gotten a few responses from readers.
So far people are loving the Godfather breakfast at Main Street Café in Belleville, the 11-ounce ribeye at Lotawata Creek in Fairview Heights and the chicken wings at Soul Fish & Chicken in O’Fallon.
What’s your favorite dish in the area and where can one get it?
I really want to know. (When out-of-town folks come to visit and ask me what’s good, I want to have plenty of recommendations.)
So please vote in the poll. And because there was an issue, I extended the poll to run through Sunday, Jan. 15.
