When will the Belleville Chick-fil-A restaurant be open again? Here’s a remodeling update
I’m sure it didn’t go unnoticed that the Chick-fil-A at 2532 Green Mount Commons Drive in Belleville is closed.
I’m also pretty sure that all of the activity and hard hats were noticed too.
The popular restaurant was closed at the start of the month for some renovations. (This much was gleaned from the location’s Facebook page.)
I stopped by to check things out and take some photos and was fortunate enough to speak with the project superintendent, Dan Schmarjie with Gallant Building Solutions.
Schmarjie said the renovation project started June 3 and that things are on schedule.
He said work on the inside is focused on the area around the service counters.
Work on the outside includes the addition of a two-lane canopied area for face-to-face interaction in the drive-thru.
The restaurant reopens July 3, according to Schmarjie.
Messages sent to the Belleville restaurant via social media and email, and to the company’s media relations team were not immediately returned.
A call to the restaurant’s number led to a recording about the closure and renovations. The recording encourages callers to follow social media for updates and reopening information.
Chick-fil-A opened at 2532 Green Mount Commons Drive in Belleville in January 2013. The dining area was remodeled in February 2022 while the restaurant stayed open for drive-thru and curbside service.
