Several major grocery chains closed for Thanksgiving. See holiday hours near Belleville
Thanksgiving is coming up soon, and you may want to check which Belleville-area grocery and liquor stores near you will be open for any last-minute ingredient needs.
People can expect to pay a little more for their Thanksgiving meal this year, as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports grocery costs are up 1.1% from October 2023 to October 2024. Meats, poultry, fish and eggs along with nonalcoholic beverages have seen the greatest increases.
Some grocers are offering discounts to combat inflation this year, including a 10-person meal deal from Aldi for less than $47. Walmart also has a Thanksgiving meal deal, with ingredients available for less than $7 per serving.
Most banks will be closed Thanksgiving Day as it is considered a “bank holiday,” but you can always check with your branch before heading out.
