Illinois eclipses 1.4 million COVID-19 tests, as health officials report 715 new cases
Statewide, 715 new coronavirus cases and 64 more virus-related deaths have been reported, the Illinois Department of Public Health announced Wednesday.
The new cases bring Illinois’ total to 138,540 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began. There have been a total of 6,770 deaths in the state.
Laboratories have performed more than 1.4 million coronavirus tests statewide, with 29,331 of them recorded since Tuesday.
