East St. Louis race riot commemoration postponed
An event to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the 1917 East St. Louis race riot has been postponed.
Originally set for Saturday, event organizers announced Friday afternoon that they would postpone the event because of inclement weather. Organizers said they were working to find a date in February to hold the event.
