Holiday forecast: Chance of rain, high in low 80s
Hope you got your fill of sun in the last couple of days, because it’s looking like rain for the next week.
The National Weather Service says there’s a 30 percent chance of showers on Memorial Day. The day should be partly cloudy with a high near 82 degrees, with spot showers and storms.
Then, the National Weather Service predicts a 30-50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms every day next week, with highs in the low-to-mid-80s and lows in the 60s through next Sunday.
Storms brought heavy rains and a tornado warning to the metro-east Sunday night, with more rain into the early hours of Monday.
