Traffic blocked after crash on I-64 near East St. Louis. Coroner called, official says

Traffic was stopped on all westbound lanes on Interstate 64 Tuesday following a crash at mile marker 4 in East St. Louis near Kingshighway.

St. Clair County Emergency Management Agency Director Herb Simmons said the crash occurred after 3 p.m. and would confirm only that the coroner and Arch Helicopter were requested to the scene.

As of 3:45 p.m., all westbound lanes remained blocked at that location.
