Fairview Heights kid’s stuff store is so big, walking through it ‘is almost like a hike’
Things are going well for a Fairview Heights business that relocated to a larger location earlier this year.
Once Upon a Child moved from 10850 Lincoln Trail to its current spacious home at 525 Lincoln Highway.
Business is wonderful and going really well, according to manager Tammy Burgess.
She said they “really enjoy being over here” in the larger store and that it’s “almost like a hike” moving from one end to the other.
Burgess also said that folks are still learning that the store moved.
The store reopened in late February and celebrated a grand opening in early April.
The resale franchise specializes in buying and selling gently used children’s clothing, shoes, toys and equipment. Burgess said they do not buy or sell used car seats or hygiene equipment, such as potty training seats.
Once Upon a Child is located at 525 Lincoln Highway in Fairview Heights. Hours are 10 a.m .to 8 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
