Motorcyclist hit and killed by car in Madison County
A motorcyclist was struck and killed around 7 p.m. Monday in Edwardsville.
The 29-year-old victim was on Troy Road and struck by a Ford Focus making a left-hand turn into the intersection at Center Grove Road, an Edwardsville Police press release said.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not yet been released.
The press release said the investigation is still ongoing.
