Tired of cold winter weather in the metro-east? If you’re planning a getaway to somewhere warmer or simply dreaming about possible vacations for this year, MidAmerica St. Louis Airport offers several flights for less than $160 round trip.

However, flights to one of the most affordable destinations from BLV are not scheduled to take place in the coming months. Previously, the cheapest flights from MidAmerica were to Knoxville, Tennessee, as of April 2025.

“Allegiant has released their schedule through October. Knoxville is not reflected in their offerings through October,” MidAmerica St. Louis Airport director Darren James wrote in a Tuesday email to the News-Democrat. “Allegiant will notify me if anything is permanently discontinued, and they have not provided such notification.”

Allegiant is the only airline serving MidAmerica, and it offers year-round flights to six destinations, including Florida’s Tampa/St. Pete, Sarasota, Punta Gorda, Destin/Ft. Walton Beach and Orlando/Sanford, as well as Gulf Shores, Alabama.

The airport offers five more routes seasonally, including Las Vegas, Savannah, Georgia, and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, along with Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale in Florida.
