Winter weather advisory issued
The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory ahead of snowfall expected to begin midday Tuesday and last through the evening.
The advisory begins at noon Tuesday. There’s a 50 percent chance of snow after 2 p.m. and the high will reach 23.
The chance for snow increases later Tuesday, with a 90 percent chance in the evening hours. The NWS estimates one to three inches of accumulation by the conclusion of the event.
The low Tuesday night into Wednesday will be 23. A high of 30 is expected Wednesday under cloudy skies.
A slight chance of snow returns Thursday and Friday.
