Don’t Miss This: St. Clair County Democrats invoke Reagan in election mailer

▪  St. Clair County Democrats have used the image of President Ronald Reagan in their battle with conservatives.

In a mailer sent out to county residents, Democratic Central Committee members claim local radio host Bob Romanik is trying to overthrow Reagan’s Republican party in effort to seize power.

▪  The body of a man was pulled out of the Mississippi River over the weekend.

Police say the victim, who had tattoos on his chest reading “Zachary” and “Family First” was found Saturday in the water near Venice.

▪ A Belleville Diocese parish is without a priest after improprieties allegedly found on a computer.

According to News-Democrat reports, a laptop in Rev. Bernardine Nganzi’s office was found by church leaders to contain pornography.

Since the discovery, Nganzi’s former parish, St. Lawrenceville Catholic Church, has been without a priest.
