▪ A woman allegedly stabbed a man over the weekend in Caseyville over infidelity.

Keache S. Davis, 41, has been charged with felony aggravated battery after police said she attacked a male with a knife at about 7:15 a.m. Saturday in the 2800 block of Progress Avenue.

The man was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries while jailed on $40,000 bail.

▪ An airman formerly stationed at Scott Air Force Base has pleaded guilty guilty to possessing child pornography.

Robert W. McNair Jr., 25, faces 20 years in prison when he is sentenced Sept. 6.

During the investigation of the case, federal prosecutors said 4,522 photos and 144 videos that contained child pornography were found on McNair’s hard drive.

▪ A Caseyville motel operator is facing several sex-related charges.

Popatal S. Patel, 58, owner of the Rodeway Inn at 8950 Tucker Dr. in Caseyville, has been charged by St. Clair County State’s Attorney Brendan Kelly with indecent solicitation of a child, money laundering, two counts of promoting prostitution and maintaining a public nuisance.
