A 21-year-old East St. Louis man was still being sought by authorities in connection to an armed robbery that was reported June 14.

O’Fallon Police Department said Thursday that warrants were issued for Wadell R. Savage, Jr. for his alleged involvement in an armed robbery of a store in O’Fallon called Dollars 4 Gold.

Criminal complaints accused Savage of two counts of armed robbery with a firearm and one count of attempted armed robbery. The suspect’s bail amount was set at $300,000.

O’Fallon police said Savage was not in custody Thursday afternoon. Authorities said last week that Savage was also wanted for a parole violation.

Anyone with information on Savage’s whereabouts can call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-8477 or the O’Fallon Police Department at 618-624-4545.

Police said Savage should be considered armed and dangerous. Police have asked the public to call 911 if Savage is seen.
