There’s still time to enjoy art, entertainment on final day of Art on the Square
Art on the Square concludes Sunday. Works of more than 100 artists are still on display and available for purchase.
The Children’s Art Garden, artist demonstrations and live entertainment will continue through the afternoon. Winners of the High School Art Show will be announced at noon at the Lincoln Theatre.
Art on the Square opens Sunday at 10 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m. The pet-free event is free to attend.
Sunday, May 17
- 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – GEAG Artist Demonstration: Cori Frerichs, watercolor
- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. – High School Art Show at the Mathis, Marifian and Richter (MMR) building, 23 Public Square
- 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. – Wine Court Entertainment: Jazz Tonite featuring Beth Duffy
- Noon – High School Art Awards Ceremony at Lincoln Theatre, 103 E. Main St.
- Noon to 4 p.m. – Children’s Art Garden
- 2-5 p.m. – GEAG Artist Demonstration: Suzy Kunz, drawing
- 2:15-5 p.m. – Wine Court Entertainment: Street Corner Serenade

Food and beverages are available at two locations Sunday. Find Café on the Square at the northeast and southeast corners of the Public Square.

The Wine Court is located at the northeast corner near Café on the Square. Wine is sold by the glass, and the options are:

Parking
The St. Clair County Courthouse parking garage will be open and free to the public during Art on the Square.
Shuttle Service
St. Clair County Transit District shuttle service will be available for attendees of Art on the Square.
Shuttle service resumes at 10 a.m. Sunday with buses running every 20 minutes from the Scheel Street MetroLink station. The last bus departs downtown from the corner of East Main and Jackson streets at 5:20 p.m.
