Charges brought against Granite City man accused of threatening high school
An 18-year-old Granite City man has been charged in connection with threats made against Granite City High School on Monday.
Dylan T. Stacy, of the 3200 block of Carlson Avenue, was charged with disorderly conduct Tuesday afternoon, the Granite City Police Department said in a Facebook post. The charge is a felony.
Students reported threats against the school that were made via social media on Monday night. After a police investigation, a person of interest was arrested in connection with the incident.
Stacy remained in custody in Granite City on Tuesday, pending extradition to Madison County Jail, police said. His bond was set at $100,000.
