What is one issue in education that you’re most concerned about? What is one solution that you’re most excited about?
One education issue that I am concerned about is providing all students access to the same resources and opportunities as their peers. One solution I am excited about is the one-on-one technology we provide here at New Athens. Paired with thoughtful instruction and strong relationships, technology has the power to narrow learning gaps and give every student a more equitable chance to succeed.
What do you want to tell students as they come back this year?
A new school year means a new chance to grow, learn and shine! We’re excited to see all the amazing things you’ll do this year — let’s make it our best one yet!
What would you like parents/guardians to know?
We are excited to work with you as we support your child’s learning and growth this year. Together, we can create a positive, engaging and successful year for every student. How can parents/guardians contact you?
