Belleville District 201 school board to consider teachers, aides’ contracts

Belleville Township High School District 201’s first school board meeting of the new school year will include consideration of teachers’ and aides’ contracts.

The board will consider the collective bargaining agreements for both the teachers and teacher assistants during the meeting that starts at 7 p.m. Monday at district headquarters at 920 N. Illinois St.

Superintendent Jeff Dosier said the agreements cover approximately 360 district employees. If approved, the contract would start with the current school year and last through the 2018-2019 school year.

He said the contracts’ details would be available following board approval.
