Why are you running?
To continue to serve the people of Edwardsville and assist in a controlled-growth plan that represents all the residents.
What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it?
I would support the continued efforts of the Equity and Inclusion Committee’s recommendations and add policies to ensure we foster a more inclusive community in Edwardsville. I support every element of the newly revised Personnel Code developed by the city and plan to do my part to insure its implementation. I would research different avenues to establish affordable housing programs, encourage and promote development peripheral to the I-55 Corridor and Gateway Commerce Center and assist those affected by the pandemic with financial relief programs.
Why should people vote for you?
I am a very empathetic person who recognizes and evaluates all issues and does not make snap decisions. I have always been quick to respond and resolve issues presented to me by my constituents and listen to their concerns.
