Why are you running?
I take pride in the quality of life we enjoy in Edwardsville. Our parks, schools and real-estate developments are a direct result of the good decisions and effective management of our current and former city staff and officials. The upcoming April election promises to result in significant changes to our local government. Voters will choose aldermen for two of the seven wards and a new mayor. Given my passion for the well-being of our community and its future, I decided to run for City Council to represent Ward 6.
What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it?
As this election will result in major changes to our local government, I want to help ensure that Edwardsville will continue to foster economic development that respects our history and aesthetics while making our city a unique business and tourist destination for the metro-east region.
Why should people vote for you?
I am a 20-plus-year resident of Edwardsville who has been committed to community service. Additionally, as a 20-plus-year business professional, I have a history of fostering communication and project-management skills, which would benefit the city.
