Why are you running? As a resident of New Athens for over 40 years and a business owner, I have a deep interest in the community and its people.
What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it? The most important issue, in my opinion, is the condition of streets and sidewalks. I currently serve on the Streets and Alleys, Public Property, and Grants committees. Another issue that I am currently involved in is the improvement and utilization of the Marina property on the Kaskaskia River.
Why should people vote for you? I believe I offer a positive insight and energy to the board, both in seeking new ideas and improving existing assets of the community.
