Please list highlights of your civic involvement:

Professionally, I sit on various social panels that encourage and support diversity and inclusion among colleagues.
Why are you running?
I want to ensure that the heritage of Glen Carbon is protected while the village continues to grow in a smart and safe manner. As a fourth-generation Glen Carbonite, I am passionate about working alongside village officials and residents to ensure that the village remains a thriving community for future generations.
What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it?
The main responsibility of the village clerk is to capture, maintain and file all pertinent records within the village. It is of great concern to ensure that all information is properly handled, organized and readily available to the entire Glen Carbon Village Board, employees, residents and anyone else receiving the information.
Why should people vote for you?
I am passionate about preserving the past while effectively serving the future. Personally, I am a fourth-generation Glen Carbonite. Both my maternal great-grandparents and paternal great-grandparents immigrated to this area. They worked in coal mines or on the railroad, raised their families and helped lay the groundwork for this community. My great-grandfather served as mayor, as did his son, my great-uncle. I was raised with a great sense of pride and respect for this community and feel it is now my responsibility to continue in their path.
Professionally, I bring with me a wealth of knowledge and experience that has prepared me to serve effectively in this position. My career, which has spanned over three decades, has been heavily focused in the areas of business administration, project management and leadership. I am confident that my talents, skills and other attributes will be highly valuable in this position.
