Why are you running? I believe that you have to be the change you want to see in the world. While our district is very strong, I do not want to see complacency take root. We must be proactive to the challenges that are coming our way. This past year has challenged our district in terms of technology, accessibility to internet, providing meaningful remote learning, etc. Now more than ever we need to stand with our schools faculty and staff and address these challenges together. We need to make sure our community is a place people want to come to and raise a family.

What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it? The top issue in the near future for this school district will be how we position ourselves financially with the upcoming closure of the Baldwin Power Plant. Coupling that with the current financial status of our state, I foresee planning and budgeting to be a main priority in the next few years.

Also education for all students should always be the top priority of the board. I think it is important to make sure our curriculum is providing our students with what they need to succeed in the future.

Why should people vote for you? I want to see this district continue to thrive for my children who are all students of Red Bud CUSD 132. I want to build more open communication between the community and the board. I would like our district to continue to have a reputation of high standards and community involvement so that we keep and entice the best teachers and administrators. I promise to make decisions for what is best for the district as a whole.
