Who are your top three campaign contributors? Myself and Barb Elmore
Why are you running? With this election, new district boundaries are present. My district will be electing a new representative. Because I have been the alderman for a large portion of this area, I bring the most experience to serve the people. County representation needs to be more prevalent. The people of Belleville know my history of communication and desire to serve. This is the next logical step to serve South East Belleville.
What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it? Maintenance of derelict commercial and residential property. Some derelict properties are not in the city limits but are enforceable through the county. Using the experience I have from city enforcement, I will lend my knowledge at the county level. I have a great desire to learn more from the county programs in place.
Why should people vote for you? People need to be able to know who is representing them. I believe that is the elected officials responsibility. I offer multiple ways to get a hold of me. I return correspondence and communicate with the people. Accessibility and experience are the foundation of serving the people.
