Introducing We Rebuild: A note from our editor

Our reporters, editors and visual journalists have worked day and night to bring you coverage of the novel coronavirus pandemic in Illinois. Now, 13 weeks into this unprecedented test on our society, we’re beginning to tell the story of how we rebuild.

We’re launching our new We Rebuild section to do exactly that. We Rebuild will bring together perspectives and solutions for a path to restore our communities in a post-pandemic world.

It will provide essentials like how do I find a job, explain the reopening process and what it means to you, answer your questions , hold our leaders accountable, give you useful safety information, provide perspective and context about what’s ahead and report the news of the day.
