Up to $165K a year to work remote from Illinois? Check out these flexible jobs
Remote job opportunities have increased since the beginning of COVID-era social distancing rules, and some reports have found higher job satisfaction and lower turnover for work-from-home employees. But what remote openings are available in Illinois, especially as some companies implement “back to the office” policies?
Many companies, including some in finance and communications, are still offering remote options to Illinois-based applicants. However, when you’re searching for a work-from-home gig, you may want to be aware of common fake job postings and scams.
Employment search site Indeed recommends job-seekers follow a few best practices to mitigate the risk of scams, including not clicking on any links from email addresses or text messages that you don’t recognize. Indeed also says prospective applicants for remote jobs should keep an eye out for any red flags, such as jobs that seem too good to be true and positions with little information available about the hiring company.
Here’s a roundup of five open job postings available to Illinois applicants that advertise remote work.
